Novell NetWare Revisor is a multifunctional toolkit intended for managing, monitoring and backing up servers running on the Novell NetWare operating system. The key feature of the package is its ability to create images of NetWare servers from the administrator's workstation. An image is a complete copy of the eDirectory catalog tree used by the server to provide access to its resources. Thanks to the rich reporting functionality of the package, the administrator can save a backup copy of eDirectory both on the hard drive and on paper. The program uses server images to restore the object database "on the go", both on the source server and other NetWare servers. The integrated image editor provides the administration with a broad spectrum of functions: from object replication and merging trees to migration of trustee rights and server cloning. Apart from that, the package offers a number of additional features, such as a connections monitor, the ability to remotely execute console commands, the ability to mass-send text messages and more. All these functions coupled with a simple and intuitive interface greatly simplify the search for information and make Novell NetWare Revisor a must-have for working in NetWare-based networks.
