Active@ UNERASER is a freeware undelete software for Windows and DOS that can recover deleted and damaged files, folders and volumes located on NTFS, FAT, exFAT, Linux Ext2/Ext3/Ext4fs, Apple HFS+ and Unix UFS file systems. It can even restore files from accidentally deleted and re-formatted partitions. Integrated Active@ Disk Editor (low-level data viewer) allows advanced users inspecting raw disk's sectors and internal file system's data structures to evaluate damage to critical data and to perform manual data recovery. Freeware version allows using most products' capabilities and performing basic recovery tasks. Most of disk problems can be easily solved with it, like unerase of accidentally deleted file, or recovering files on a volume being damaged by virus or power surge. Professional version of Active@ UNERASER: includes Active@ Boot Disk Lite; Windows Boot Disk Creator being able to prepare bootable DOS disk as well as Windows 7-based Boot Disk on USB & CD/DVD media to recover unbootable systems; Loads scan results saved by a freeware version and proceeds with further data recovery; Recovers deleted partition/volume "in-place" or copies all volume data to a new disk; Does not contain limitations on number of files being recovered per one recovery session and more
